A thousand words

timetoburnsomething
It was sunday on Clairmont Road. I had to go to the drug store, and the party that is Plaza Fiesta was going strong.
I went down the street later to photograph something I had seen earlier.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, or maybe 20 million visitors. The sight of a tattered stars and stripes, caught in a hole over the Mexican Flag. The Ameican symbol was tearing a hole ever larger, while preventing the Mexican emblem from fully unfurling. There is a statement in that. Maybe it is a inkblot test, and you see what you want to see. Or, more likely, never notice in the mad rush to get to I 85.
A few paces further south is a sign. These are paces south, not east or west.
The question is an issue Mary Magdalene had to face.
